How to apply for a home

Homefinder RCT (http://www.homefinderrct.org.uk ) is an exciting new way to find a home in Rhondda Cynon Taff using choice based lettings.

 

Choice based lettings is used by many housing associations to allocate their homes. Properties are available each week and you can bid for the homes advertised.

 

You will need to be registered with the Common Housing Register to be able to express an interest in being offered any of the advertised properties.

 

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council and its housing association partners run a choice based lettings scheme called Homefinder RCT. It is a partnership of six landlords including Cynon Taf Community Housing Group, Hafod Housing Association, Newydd Housing Association, RCT Homes, Rhondda Housing and Wales and West Housing. Homefinder RCT provides access to over 15,000 homes to rent in Rhondda Cynon Taff.

 

Homefinder RCT provides you with an opportunity to choose where you want to use.

Don’t worry if you don’t have access to your own computer to make an application. Just give the Housing Solutions team a call on 01443 485515. A trained member of staff will complete the application with you over the telephone.
